Turning 2

You'll see a series of photos from this shoot on my website eventually (along with SO many other shoots that I want to put up!).  Shooting almost everyday sometimes even twice a day, it's hard to even have time to post on this blog.  Sigh!

Funky Hats

The striped one was my client's own but the bear looking one is M&P's.  That is 1 out of 30 hats that I carry with me all the time!

Word is

"hey, I think our mom is making us do a photo shoot...naked!"

why I still love studio shots

need i say more?  and yes, her natural light portion was just as adorable!

Neutrals

I love neutral tones and a variety of textures for newborn shots.   It's so tempting to pick colors that make babies look less androgynous but I don't know about you...this baby screams "I'm a boy" without having to use blues or greens!

Modern vs. Traditional

Being in Los Angeles, there are so many cultures and I discovered that with the Korean culture in particular there is a traditional garment that the baby's wear when they turn one.  This baby boy was 14 months but he was still able to fit into his beautiful outfit and amazingly enough the hat stayed on!!

California Girl

This was one of three sessions with one of my many Pacific Palisades clients.  I love this girl so much!  Her personality is AMAZING. I was really sad that this was our last session from her Baby's First Year but guess what?  Mom's expecting!!  She's already enrolled her second baby onto the same plan so not only do I get to see the new baby, I get to see this little muffin again!  Yay!!

cutie pie!

LOVE the over the shoulder look. Classic.

Cracking up

Big brother having fun with his little sis!   And as always, eyelash shots are my favorites - focus!

Do they make these Uggs for adults?

Something about a baby with a cute hat and uggs seem so adorable!

Amore!

I often wonder how people keep up with blogging.  Since I shoot often, it's hard to even find time to buy groceries. I'm a photographer not a writer so forgive me!  I do love to share so hopefully this is a start for more to come.  Just sharing a shoot I did in Beverly Hills recently.  The studio shot on the gray backdrop was taken over a year ago (before she even knew how to crawl).  Now look at how big she's grown up to be!
